The short version

FitPic has no accounts and no sign-in, and the developer operates no servers.
Your Apple Health data and photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded.
The only network traffic is downloading map tiles to draw the map background — no workout data or photos are sent.

FitPic (“the app”) is an iOS app that draws workouts stored in Apple Health onto your own photos and videos. This policy explains exactly what information the app touches, why, and where it goes. This English text is a translation provided for convenience; the Korean version is the governing original.

1. Information the developer collects

The developer collects and stores no personal information whatsoever. The app has no account or login, there is no server or database operated by the developer, and the app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. Everything described in sections 2 and 3 is read and processed only on your device.

2. Information the app accesses on your device

The app accesses the following only after you explicitly grant permission in the iOS permission dialogs, and only within the scope you granted.

2.1 Apple Health (HealthKit) data — read only

The app only reads health data. It never writes, edits, or deletes anything in the Health app. The data types it reads are:

Workouts: activity type, start and end time, duration
Workout routes: GPS coordinates, altitude, timestamps
Distance: walking/running, cycling, swimming, downhill snow sports, wheelchair, cross-country skiing, paddle sports, rowing
Active energy burned, heart rate
Cycling power, cycling cadence, swimming stroke count, sport-specific speed

There is exactly one purpose: to render the workout you selected as a map, chart, or set of figures on top of your photo or video.

Specific commitments regarding Apple Health data Health data is never used for marketing, advertising, or use-based data mining. It is never disclosed, sold, or shared with any third party, including data brokers, information resellers, and advertising platforms. Health data is never stored in iCloud or any other remote storage.

2.2 Photos and videos

Only the photos and videos you pick yourself are read, as background material. The app does not scan or index your library.
Finished results are saved to a FitPic album in your own photo library. Those files belong entirely to you; the developer has no access to them.
Intermediate files created while rendering video are written to the app's temporary directory and removed when the job finishes.

2.3 Data stored on your device

So the app does not have to re-query the Health app every time you open it, a summary of your imported workouts and their route coordinates is cached as a JSON file in the app's private storage (the Application Support folder inside the app sandbox). This file never leaves your device, cannot be read by other apps, and is deleted completely when you delete the app.

4. Third parties and outbound traffic

The developer discloses no personal information to third parties. The app's only outbound network traffic is for drawing map backgrounds.

Map tile downloads (OpenFreeMap)

The app uses the open-source map renderer MapLibre to download map image tiles from OpenFreeMap's public tile server (tiles.openfreemap.org).
In doing so, the tile coordinates of the map area being drawn and your device's IP address reach that server. This is inherent to how internet requests work, and such requests may appear in the map provider's server logs.
Your workouts, health metrics such as heart rate, raw GPS route data, photos, videos, device identifiers, and any identifying information are not transmitted.
OpenFreeMap is a free, open-source map service; its own policies are available at the link above.

There is no other path by which the app sends data over the internet. The app uses no advertising networks, no behavioural analytics, and no crash-reporting services, and it does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

5. Your choices and controls

Revoke Health access — Health app → Profile → Apps and Services → FitPic, then turn off individual data types.
Change photo access — Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → FitPic.
Erase everything — deleting the app removes its cached workout data from your device completely. Exports saved to your photo library can be deleted by you at any time.

Because the developer holds none of your data, there is no stored record to be accessed, corrected, or erased on request. You are welcome to write to the contact below with any question regardless, and you will receive a reply.

6. Security

All processing happens inside the iOS app sandbox, protected by the device's Data Protection encryption.
Health data is reached only through Apple's HealthKit permission system, and only for the types you approved.
The only outbound traffic is map tile requests, which are encrypted over HTTPS.
Because the developer stores nothing, there is no server-side breach risk.

7. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 14 (or under 13 where COPPA applies), and no personal information is knowingly collected from children. Since the app collects and transmits no personal information at all, there is no channel through which a child's information could reach the developer.

10. Changes to this policy

Any addition, deletion, or amendment to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where a change materially affects your rights, notice will be given at least 7 days in advance through this page or the app's release notes.
